I grew up in Templeton around construction: my father is a contractor and I spent my summers working hands-on at construction sites on remodels and new builds with my dad’s business. This piqued my interest in building and design and ultimately led me to an engineering degree at Cal Poly.
I was fortunate that while attending Templeton High School I could take AutoCAD and Revit classes and shortly after high school I worked at a local drafting company for a couple years before I branched off and started doing my own projects. After receiving my Civil Engineering degree I pursued a MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering which I received in 2019.
I complete about 70 projects a year as PJ Designs while working as an engineer with Darrell Kudla and Kudla Engineering. I also teach a CAD course at Cal Poly in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and help build spec houses with my family. I currently live in Templeton with my partner.
